The Illini Arabian Horse Club was formed in 1978 by Arabian owners and enthusiasts in the south-central portion of Illinois and eastern Missouri. Members are located in a wide geographic band which stretches from central Illinois to 50 miles west and south of St. Louis, MO. The club's main purpose is to promote the use of the Arabian breeds through the use of shows, clinics and trail rides and to offer educational opportunities to Arabian enthusiasts whether or not they own horses.
