The Arabian Horse Society of Iowa, established in 1974 to further promote the Arabian Horse, is affiliated with IAHA, making all of our voting members automatically members of IAHA. Each year the Society sponsors many events for our members. Overnight trail rides, fun shows, dressage and western clinics (with professional clinicians) and educational meetings to name a few. Our four fun shows are qualifying shows for our year end High Point Awards. In addition, we sponsor promotional booths at the IowaState Fair & the Iowa Horse Fair. Our members receive a monthly newsletter, keeping them informed of club activities and other horse related functions. We also publish an annual calendar/directory, which is distributed nationally.
